Marta Anna Blachowicz-Scott, a Polish National and Polish and American Citizen is the proud owner and talented designer behind Martitect Design. With her base in the beautiful Golden State of California, Marta's designs have reached clients all around the world. Born in Skwierzyna, Poland, and raised in the charming town of Gorzow Wielkopolski, near the German border, Marta's passion for architecture and interior design blossomed at a young age. Growing up, she closely followed her architect father, who owned a construction company in Poland and absorbed the creative energy that surrounded her. This deep connection with design became an integral part of her identity.
As Marta grew older, her creative eye, heart, and mind developed alongside her. She possesses a unique ability to understand the essence of space at a single glance and skillfully brings to life the desired vision through her designs. In 2004, Marta made the courageous decision to move to the United States of America, driven by her dream of pursuing an education in this great country. She successfully graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Architecture and a minor in Construction Management. During her time at Cal Poly, Marta also attended Cuesta College, where she studied Interior Design, Math and Science, and Architectural Technology, excelling in all of these fields. Her dedication and hard work paid off, as she earned herself an impressive five degrees across various disciplines.
In addition to her academic achievements, Marta has had the opportunity to travel the world, immersing herself in different cultures and gaining a deep appreciation for their influences. These experiences have enriched her creative perspective, allowing her to draw from a vast pool of inspiration and ideas. Marta's designs are a reflection of her responsiveness and creativity, offering a unique depth that captivates and satisfies her clients.
